"Yes, for me the drama of storm in nature, the drama of sorrow in life, are the most impressive. Oh, there must be a little bit of light, a little bit of happiness, just enough to indicate the shape, to make the limbs of the silhouette stand out, but let the rest be dark." -Vincent Van Gogh

today i am maybe sicker, but still got a little done. some sketching pages, and one done drawing. i just had to lay there for awhile though. well, a long while. got a call of the actual sales from work left in 1313, and should be collecting the money soon, which helps a lot. lots of stuff to put up on ebay, but if i miss the window of time of day, it lessens sales from what i've observed. so hopefully i won't sleep through it tomorrow. made it to starbucks again for some drawing but did'nt last too long. i have a painting that is coming along pretty well, and is almost done. will post soon. need some rest...

today, i am sick and possibly getting sicker. i am not the type to lay down and rest tho. i bused over to retrieve some art as one piece sold (untitled ant) to a guy who bought a piece off ebay. he found my mnartists.org page, where her saw the ant. i was happy he had no problem paying my asking price, as i am fairly happy with that one. saw my brother at the spot and went to lunch with him, which was really cool. had'nt actually hung out with him for some time. brocolli, mock duck and rice. also retrieved some paint from the spot, some great orange, blue, taupe. i left some work there, most of it with sold signs, but i don't know who's wanting it. talked a lot about energy the last couple of days, with different people. repetitively coming to the conclusion i don't operate on the same systems. came home took a nap, got up and took four times the dose of robotussin, which was niiiice for the sickness. enabling me to hit starbucks for three hours of drawing and listening to somali women talk, although i did'nt know what they were saying. the music would frequently be another language also, and it all made me feel warm and comfortable. i made a drawing of a statik optikous and finished an abstrakt character. both of which will be cut apart and ebayed. sick, but feeling pretty good...
