heres another one in my Kathed Polaroid series. this one measures about 6" x 5 1/4" on a 1 1/2" thick wood piece. done in acrylics. the newer ones in this series have developed nicely. its strange even after years of it happening, that a certain composition of simple shapes can morph and change seemingly on their own. this series is a good example of that...

brand new art auctions up today. heres one of them now. kathed 111509a. aceo card. graphite on heavy duty watercolor paper. the scan turned out a bit dark. i'm using a new scanner and have'nt quite got the tweaking to where i want it yet. listed a few more on ebay also, some of which will appear here shorty. this is one of my KATHEDZ, an ongoing series of cats i've been working on for awhile now. both paintings and drawings. this one is a bit of a different direction than most of my aceos have gone, but i like it. even heavier graphite with no border. done back in november. i had a collection of about 30 aceos done for a moment there, before i started listing them again. now i'm getting down to about twenty, but some may be saved for awhile still. its hard to let go of work after keeping it for the first time in the last few years. but, i have nearly four hundred auctions to go to get to my goal of 1000 art auctions sold, so come back soon for more art...

heres a new one in my "thanks for nothing" series. this one is about 11" x 8" on 1/2" thick found wood. done in acrylic, graphite, china marker and enamel. these usually manifest in a bad mood. did one once while living with an (ex) gf and she put it on top of a dear john note on my drawing table. i find this extremely funny...

i did this one over the summer, mostly in ohio but finished in virginia. its titled Disaster081409. it measures about 10" x 17" on 3/4" thick wood. acrylic and enamel... part of an ongoing DISASTER series.

heres a new one for today, but was'nt done today. a new eyekon, now up on ebay... found some good cheap paint today, which offset the dead of winter sicknesses a little. hard to not get depressed. missing my easle... missing my cat even tho hes been dead for eight years... loss loss loss but art still functions. more soon.
