moving right along. lots of stuff up on ebay right now for those who are interested. lots more in process at different stages. this one is 12" x 12" acrylic, aerosol, and china marker on a masonite panel mounted on a 1 1/2" wooden frame. the actual material painted on is leftovers from a collab show from over a year ago. i can't believe how much stuff i stored up in this little studio apartment. all the boards, canvases, ect. i've started over the last few years are now almost finished and done with. strange the turns that can come unexpectedly, but i don't really mind...

86 Gallery/House

this eyekon is a commission for 86 gallery house in ventura california. i should be just able to fulfill all my pending obligations before getting kicked out of here, and then move on to whatever the next stage is. i'm optimistic in circumstances where maybe i should feel doomed... cheers!

a quick update

painted around 14 hours yesterday, over 12 the day before that. trying to get as much done as possible from here until there. heres a progress shot from a couple days ago...

eviction process

the evict process has begun, so i'm going balls out painting everything in sight until the sheriff escorts me from the studio...

I may be on a short (hopefully) hiatus for a moment as it looks as though there is no way out of moving by this friday. I'll try to get a couple studio deconstruction shots, and hopefully at least land a new place to make art if not one to actually live in... Thanks to all who've been coming by.
